My goal is to create a safe space where you feel supported, valued, and truly heard. My counseling style is best described as warm, compassionate, non-judgmental, empathetic, and authentic. Clients can engage in a therapeutic environment that allows them to openly express and manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a healthy manner. A collaborative and person-centered approach is utilized to meet the unique needs of each individual.
I enjoy working with teenagers (ages 12 and older), young adults, and adults. My treatment approaches incorporate Brainspotting, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Play and Art Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Therapeutic sessions may include elements of somatic (brain-body based) methods, mindfulness, coping skills, self-care techniques, expressive arts, bilateral music sounds, and guided meditation.
Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, anger management, bullying, self-esteem, grief and loss, substance use, life transitions, family conflict, and chronic illness, as well as neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming care. I offer virtual therapy sessions through a secure, HIPPA-compliant platform. This ensures your privacy and confidentiality while accessing support from the comfort of your own space.
